Creation method
There are two options for creating a Hollow Surface node.
- The first way to create a Hollow Surface node using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
- hollow , surface , opening , difference , boolean
- The second way is to select a Hollow Surface node from the menu that opens from the top left.
- Menu > Tool > Boolean Operation > Hollow Surface
Steps
- Create a Hollow Surface node.
- Connect the host geometry (surface or face) to hollow to the Geometry port.
- Connect closed opening curves to the Curves port. These curves define the openings to be removed from the host geometry.
After creating the node, connect the host geometry to the Geometry port, then connect one or more closed curves to the Curves port. The node subtracts the regions enclosed by these curves from the host geometry and outputs the resulting hollow surface on the output port.
