Reaction Diffusion Lamp

A parametric vase inspired by reaction–diffusion systems, where simple mathematical rules generate complex, organic patterns. The geometry evolves through the interaction of two diffusing agents—creating regions of growth, separation, and clustering that are translated into the vase’s ribbed surface.

Instead of manually modeling every curve, the form emerges from an algorithmic process, producing a unique pattern with each iteration. The result is a sculptural vessel that sits somewhere between natural growth and computational design.
