The Input plugin provides essential data-entry and data-source nodes for BeeGraphy Editor. Use it to add fixed constants, adjustable parameters, text, choices, colors, curves, images, fonts, materials, and imported 3D or vector assets to your parametric graphs.
This group contains Number Const, a fixed numeric value. It is good for hard-coding dimensions, counts, or other constants that should not change when users interact with a model.
This group is the main set of interactive and asset inputs:
Range Input returns a variable number, ideal for parametric numeric controls.Text Input, Text Area Input, and Rich Text Editor return text, from short labels to multi-line styled content.Select and Select with Thumbnail return predefined choices; use Select with Thumbnail when choices need visual previews.Boolean returns a true/false value, useful for toggles and conditional logic.Color Picker returns a color value.Curve Editor returns a NURBS curve, good for custom profile or path input.Font returns font for text.Image Input uploads and processes image files.Object 3d uploads 3D object files.Vector Graphics Input imports SVG files.Material returns texture for text.UV Mapping maps a texture image onto a 3D object.Texture returns a texture for geometry materials.Graph Mapper returns a graph.Math Expression evaluates a mathematical expression and returns a constant number. It is good for computed constants or fixed calculations in a graph.
Adjustable panel thickness
Connect Number Const and Range Input into a Math Expression to compute a fixed offset plus a user-adjustable value. For example, use Range Input for a parametric thickness and Number Const for a minimum base dimension, then pass the result downstream to drive geometry.
Label text with a choice
Combine Select with Text Input and Font to create user-selectable labels. Select can choose between predefined text options, Text Input can provide fallback or custom text, and Font supplies the typeface for the final text output.
Textured 3D surface
Use Image Input to upload an image, UV Mapping to project it onto a 3D object, and Texture to supply the result to a geometry material. This gives designers a simple way to preview placed graphics on parametric models.
The docs describe the latest version, v2.1.17.
