Overview

List

Data-structure nodes for the BeeGraphy Editor: a practical toolkit for building and reshaping the lists, sequences, sets, and trees that drive parametric models. Use these nodes to organize input data, generate ordered ranges, filter duplicates, and control how data flows as nested branches. The package groups its nodes into four focused categories: List, Sequence, Set, and Tree.

List

Nodes for inspecting and editing flat lists. Measure how many items a list contains, pull out a specific element, or locate the index of a known item. The group also covers slicing and reordering workflows: trim away a subset, extract a range, split a list into parts, reverse its order, or insert and dispatch items across multiple lists. For pattern-based editing, Take Nth and Remove Nth keep or discard items at regular intervals, while Remove Pattern uses a repeating bit mask to filter elements. Sorting and replacement are handled by Number List Sort, Sort List, Replace Items, and Partition List. Use AscDesc List to build counting-up-and-down sequences.

Sequence

Nodes that generate and transform ordered numeric sequences. List Sequence and List Sequence SEC create evenly spaced number ranges using either count/end or start/end/count conventions. Grow Step Sequence produces sequences where the step itself grows, and Fibonacci builds the classic Fibonacci series. Duplicate List repeats an existing list, Repeat List extends a pattern to a target length, and Random Numbers List generates randomized values. Remap Numbers rescales input values into a new numeric range, while Bounds returns the minimum and maximum of a number list.

Set

Nodes for unordered collections and set-based logic. List Intersection, List Union, and List Difference compare two lists and return the mathematical result. List Merge combines lists while preserving items, and Delete Consecutive removes repeated neighbors. Shift List offsets every item by a chosen amount, and List Order Changing changes the arrangement of a list.

Tree

Nodes for hierarchical, branching data structures. Path-focused tools such as Construct Path, Deconstruct Path, Shift Paths, and Path Mapper create or rewrite branch addresses. Weave interleaves multiple input streams according to a pattern, while Condition, Stream Filter, and Scope Gate decide which branches or outputs receive data. Structural editing is covered by Clean Tree (drop null/invalid items), Trim Tree, Flatten Tree, Graft Tree, Simplify Tree, Flip Tree, Prune Tree, and Unflatten Tree. For inspection, Tree Statistics, Tree Branch, Tree Branch Maintain, and Tree Item return summaries or specific branches/items. Entwine Tree flattens or grafts a tree by removing its branch information.

Example Combinations

  • Ordered point grid from a number list
Start with List Sequence to generate values from 0 to 10. Feed the result into Partition List to split it into rows of three, then use List Item inside a repeated graph section to read each row and build a coordinate list.

  • Filtering and sorting a design-option list
Use List Union to merge two lists of possible heights while removing duplicates, then run the result through Delete Consecutive to clean repeated runs. Sort List returns the heights in ascending order, and List Item picks the first value for a modeling operation.

  • Branching data for panelization
Build a grid of points as a nested list, then use Graft Tree to add a branch level so each column becomes its own subset. Connect Tree Statistics to verify the branch count, and Tree Branch to access one column before passing it to a curve or surface node.

The docs describe the latest version, v2.1.16.
