This package contains manufacturing machine nodes designed for use in the BeeGraphy Editor, providing tools for assigning and managing manufacturing machines within production workflows. The nodes in this package are used to define, configure, and apply manufacturing machines to models and operations. These nodes can be found in the Manufacturing → Machines group in the menu or through the search function. The package provides various machine nodes that represent different types of manufacturing equipment and calculate processing parameters based on machine capabilities and input geometry. Each machine node type is designed to work with specific manufacturing operations and measurement parameters.

Overview

Machine

Machine brings manufacturing-aware automation to BeeGraphy. It gives you a visual toolkit of real production equipment—CNC mills, laser cutters, 3D printers, waterjet cutters, and more—so you can define machine capabilities, attach them to geometry, and export ready-to-run toolpaths without leaving the parametric environment.

Machine Nodes

The core Machine group contains nodes that define a manufacturing machine and calculate processing parameters from its capabilities and input geometry.

  • CNC Mill 3-Axis – cutting wood, metal, or plastic with a rotating tool
  • Laser Cutter-Engraver – 2D cutting and engraving of acrylic, wood, or metal
  • 3D Printer FDM – additive manufacturing with plastic filament
  • Plasma Cutter – 2D cutting of conductive metals
  • CNC Lathe – cylindrical parts, with the workpiece spinning
  • Waterjet Cutter – cutting thick materials with high-pressure water/abrasive
  • 3D Printer SLA – UV-cured photopolymer resin printing; you can tune between general-purpose, strong/rigid, tough, and flexible/elastic profiles
  • 3D Printer SLS – laser-fused thermoplastic powder (PA11/PA12 nylon) for parts that mimic injection-molded stress behavior
  • Vinyl Cutter – thin foils, vinyl, paper, gaskets
  • CNC Mill 5-Axis – complex geometries and aerospace parts
  • EDM Wire – extremely precise vertical cuts in hard metal

Deconstruct Nodes

Each machine has a matching Deconstruct ... node that breaks the machine back into its fundamental attributes—bed size, feed rates, power, tool diameter, and so on. This is useful for inspection, for driving downstream calculations, or for recombining selected parameters into a new machine definition.

For example, Deconstruct CNC Mill 3-Axis extracts the individual settings of a CNC Mill 3-Axis machine, and Deconstruct Laser Cutter-Engraver does the same for a laser machine. Every machine type in the package has a corresponding deconstruct node, including Deconstruct 3D Printer FDM, Deconstruct Plasma Cutter, Deconstruct CNC Lathe, Deconstruct Waterjet Cutter, Deconstruct 3D Printer SLA, Deconstruct 3D Printer SLS, Deconstruct Vinyl Cutter, Deconstruct CNC Mill 5-Axis, and Deconstruct EDM Wire.

Export

The G-Code Exporter node turns the output of a configured machine into G-code, ready for a physical controller. Connect it after a machine node that has processed your geometry and it produces the final toolpath.

Example Graphs

Laser-cut enclosure panel. Drop a Laser Cutter-Engraver node, feed it a 2D face from your model, then connect its output to G-Code Exporter. The machine node calculates cutting speed and power from the acrylic material profile, and the exporter emits the toolpath for production.

Milling a bracket. A CNC Mill 3-Axis takes a solid body and computes machining parameters. If you need to inspect or tune it, route the machine through Deconstruct CNC Mill 3-Axis, adjust a feed-rate value, and pass the updated parameters onward before exporting with G-Code Exporter.

Comparing small-batch plastics. Feed the same closed mesh into 3D Printer FDM, 3D Printer SLA, and 3D Printer SLS in parallel. Each node produces different build-time and material-cost estimates; use the three outputs to compare processes directly in the graph, then export the best option.
