Creation method

There are two options for creating a Map To Surface node.

  • The first way to create a Map To Surface node using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
    • map , mapSrf , morph
  • The second way is to select a Map To Surface node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Transform > Map To Surface

Steps

  • Create a Map To Surface node.
  • Connect the Curve you want to map to the first port.
  • Connect the Source surface (where the curve currently “lives” / is evaluated) to the second port.
  • Connect the Target surface (where you want the curve to be mapped) to the third port.

On the output port you will get the mapped curve(s) positioned on the Target surface in 3D space.
