Creation method

There are two options for creating the Pull Point node.

  • The first way to create the Pull Point node is using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need or words associated with this node.
    • pullPnt, nearestPnt, pullPoint
  • The second way is to select the Pull Point node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Vector > Pull Point

Steps

  • Create the Pull Point node.
  • Connect the geometry on which we want to find the pull point to the first port.
  • Connect the point from which you want to find the closest point on geometry to the second port.

The node finds and returns the nearest geometry point on the first port, and the second returns the distance between the point and its projection on the geometry.
