Creation method

There are two options for creating a Discontinuity node.

  • The first way to create a Discontinuity node using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
    • len , crvLen
  • The second way is to select a Discontinuity node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Curve Analysis > Discontinuity

Steps

  • Create a Discontinuity node.
  • Connect the curve whose discontinuity points you want to find to the input port of the node.

After creating a node, connect the curve whose discontinuity points you want to find to the port. On the output port of the Discontinuity node, you will receive a set of points that correspond to the discontinuity points in the curve. These points can be used for further manipulation or analysis of the curve. It is important to note that the Discontinuity node only identifies points of discontinuity and does not modify the original curve. By using the Discontinuity node, you can easily identify and work with points of discontinuity in your curves, which can be helpful in a variety of applications such as animation and simulation.
