Creation method

There are two options for creating a Hexagonal Panel node.

  • The first way to create a Hexagonal Panel node is using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
    • hexpan , panels
  • The second way is to select a Hexagonal Panel node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Panel > Hexagonal Panel

Steps

  • Create a Hexagonal Panel node.
  • Connect the surface to panelize to the first port.
  • Connect the count of divisions on the surface in the U direction to the second port.
  • Connect the count of divisions on the surface in the V direction to the third port.

After creating the node, connect the surface to the first port. Similarly connect the count of divisions to the second and third ports.On the output ports, you will get the hexagon panels and the center points of the hexagon cells.
