Creation method

There are two options for creating Extrude Curve node.

  • The first way to create Extrude Curve node is using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
    • extrude, ec, ce, crvEx
  • The second way is to select Extrude Curve node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Surface > Extrude Curve

Steps

  • Create Extrude Curve node.
  • Connect the curve you want to extrude to the first port.
  • Connect the vector in which direction you want to extrude the curve to the second port.

After creating the node, connect the curve you want to extrude to the first port, by default the curve will extrude in the OZ direction. Connect a vector to the second port in the direction you want to extrude the curve. You can connect several curves to the first port, and they will all be extruded in the direction of the vector. At the same time, it is possible to connect several vectors to the second port, in the direction of which they will be sequentially extruded corresponding curves in turn. Or if there is only one curve, this curve will be extruded along the given vectors.
