Creation method

There are two options for creating a Plane By 2 Lines node.

  • The first way to create a Plane By 2 Lines node using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
    • constructPlane , pln , line
  • The second way is to select a Plane By 2 Lines node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Vector > Plane By 2 Lines

Steps

  • Create a Plane By 2 Lines node.
  • Connect the first line constraint to the first port.
  • Connect the second line constraint to the second port.

After creating a node, connect the first line constraint to the first port, the plane origin will be at line start. Connect the second line constraint to the second port, the second line should be co-planer with but not parallel to the first line. On the output port, you will get the plane definition.
