Creation method

There are two options for creating an OBJ Exporter node.

  • The first way is to create an OBJ Exporter node using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node or related words:
    • OBJ, Exporter, download, file
  • The second way is to select a node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Export > OBJ Exporter

Steps

  • Create a OBJ Exporter node.
  • Connect a geometry to the input port of the OBJ Exporter node.
  • Open the Export menu from the top panel.
  • In the Export Options section, select the OBJ Exporter node you want to use for downloading (if there are multiple exporters).
  • You can also choose the export quality and, depending on the node, additional download options may be available.
  • Click the Download button to get the geometry as a .obj file.

OBJ files are commonly used for 3D modeling, game engines, and 3D printing.
