BeeGraphy Editor Toolbox Plugin This plugin provides hardware and joinery nodes for assembling furniture and cabinet designs within the BeeGraphy Editor. The nodes in this plugin are used to place, join, and machine standard hardware components — fasteners, hinges, connectors, slides, and brackets — onto 3D panel geometry. These nodes can be found in the Toolbox group in the menu or via the search engine. Fastener nodes provide standard hardware items with their associated 3D geometry and machining operations. Supported fasteners include bolt and nut pairs (M4–M24), wooden and steel dowel pins, Euro screws, confirmats, tee nuts, and wood screws. Each node outputs the hardware item along with the pre-defined boring and drilling operations required for installation. Connector nodes provide knock-down fitting hardware for flat-pack assembly. The cam lock (Minifix-style) node outputs an eccentric connector with a pocket, through-hole, and cross-bore. The cup hinge node provides a 35 mm European-style hinge with all six associated machining operations for cup bore and mounting arm installation. Placement nodes handle positioning hardware onto panels and joining parts together: PlaceHardware — positions a hardware item at a specified world-space location and surface normal, applying boolean cuts to the host solid in real time. JoinParts — joins two panel solids using a hardware item by applying host and mating machining operations to each part respectively, outputting both assembled panels with operations baked in world coordinates. AutoHinge — automatically distributes N cup hinges on a door panel relative to a cabinet side using standard margin rules, applying cup bore operations to the door and mounting plate holes to the cabinet. HardwareArray — distributes a hardware item at regular intervals along a panel face. Slide nodes output drawer and linear rail hardware pairs from the toolbox library. The drawer slide node supports side-mount and under-mount configurations with a dynamic screw hole array. The linear rail node provides standard rail-and-carriage assemblies. The corner bracket node provides a right-angle L-bracket for cabinet and carcass reinforcement with screw holes on both legs. The MachiningVisualizer node renders machining operations as color-coded ghost overlays on a host solid, with optional dimension labels showing diameter and depth for each operation type. It is useful for inspecting and debugging the operations produced by other toolbox nodes before export.

Toolbox is a BeeGraphy plugin for assembling furniture and cabinet designs from panel geometry. It provides parametric hardware models together with the machining operations—bores, pockets, drills, and screw holes—needed to install them. Instead of modelling hardware and cut-outs by hand, you drop these nodes into a graph and get fastener geometry plus the boolean cuts applied directly to your panels.
The nodes are organized into groups covering fasteners, connectors, hinges, slides, brackets, placement, machining, and mapping.
Placement nodes put hardware onto panels and distribute copies across faces.
Place Hardware positions a hardware item at a world-space location and surface normal, applying boolean cuts to the host solid in real time.Auto Placement distributes N copies of a ToolboxItem across a chosen face using a flexbox-style layout—justify along the long axis, align along the cross axis, with horizontal and vertical padding shrinking the working area. Multi-operation tools travel as a rigid group, keeping relative geometry intact. These nodes are the bridge between a hardware item and your panel geometry. Feed a Dowel or Cup Hinge into Place Hardware, connect a face and normal, and the machining ops are baked into the panel.
Fastener nodes output standard hardware with pre-defined boring and drilling operations.
Dowel gives a cylindrical wooden or steel dowel pin with two blind holes.Wood Screw creates a revolved wood screw with countersink and pilot hole.Confirmat Screw provides a Euro confirmat screw for flat-pack carcass assembly, including a stepped drill.BoltNut outputs a hex bolt and nut pair, sizes M4 to M24.EuroScrew adds a cross-dowel connecting screw with both face and edge drills.TeeNut places a press-in tee nut with a bottom-face drilling operation.Use these with Place Hardware or an Auto Placement layout to populate shelf pins, screw lines, and knock-down joints.
Cam Lock provides a Minifix-style eccentric cam lock for flat-pack carcass assembly. It includes a 15 mm pocket, through-hole, and cross-bore.Door Lock creates a rectangular furniture door lock with pocket, cylinder bore, and faceplate groove in three machining operations.Cup Hinge outputs a 35 mm European cup hinge, Blum Clip Top style, with all six machining operations for the cup bore and mounting arm.Corner Bracket produces a right-angle L-bracket for cabinet and carcass reinforcement, with screw holes on both legs. These are the workhorses for assembling cabinet boxes and doors. For example, take a door panel and a cabinet side, connect a Cup Hinge to both, and the hinge geometry and machining operations are ready for export. Swap in a Cam Lock for a knock-down cabinet carcase, or add Corner Bracket nodes at the inside corners for reinforcement.
Drawer Slide outputs a side-mount or under-mount drawer slide pair with a dynamic screw hole array.Linear Rail provides an MGN/HGR-series linear guide rail with carriage block or blocks.Feed a Drawer Slide into Auto Placement on the side of a drawer box to generate a full mounting pattern. Linear Rail is useful for jigs, linear actuators, or any design where a rail-and-carriage assembly is needed.
Machining Visualizer renders machining operation geometry as color-coded ghost overlays on a host solid, with optional dimension labels showing diameter and depth for each operation type. Use it to inspect and debug operations before export.Spatial Operation Mapper maps colliding hardware operations onto sheets via solid-solid intersection.A typical inspection setup connects the output of Place Hardware to a Machining Visualizer to confirm placement and cut depths, then sends the same graph to Spatial Operation Mapper to generate sheet machining documentation.
Dowelled cabinet joint. Take two perpendicular panels. Connect a Dowel to Place Hardware, set a position and normal on the first panel, and the blind holes are subtracted from the host. Duplicate the setup or use Auto Placement to place a row of dowels along the joint, producing a ready-to-machine panel pair.
Hinged door. Connect a Cup Hinge to Place Hardware on the door panel, with the surface normal pointing into the door face. The node applies the 35 mm cup bore and mounting holes to the door. Do the same for the cabinet side to receive the mounting arm. A Machining Visualizer on each panel shows the ops before export.
Drawer on slides. Attach two Drawer Slide nodes to the side faces of a drawer box and the matching cabinet interior with Place Hardware. The dynamic screw hole array transfers to both parts. Use Auto Placement when multiple slides or screws must follow a regular spacing.

Place Hardware
Places a hardware item onto a host solid using a position and a normal direction vector. Boolean cuts are applied in real time.
Auto Placement
Distributes N copies of a ToolboxItem on a chosen face using a CSS-flexbox layout (justify-content along the long axis, align-items along the cross axis, horizontal/vertical padding shrinks the working area). Each tool’s ops travel as a rigid group so multi-op tools keep relative geometry.
