Lampshade with translucent paper diffusers

Lasercut lamp shade meant for a manufacturer of lighting fixtures.

The design saves material and reduces cutting time by nesting all shapes within each other. There are 4 shapes used in different configurations in these 5 models.

Material: plywood, acryl, mdf used to hold a thin diffuser of paper or polypropylene

For you as manufacturer the first step is to choose which models you like and would like to offer your customers. In this example 5 models have been chosen of 57 possible.

All models uses the same 4 basic elements, while the inner framework will be unique.

Each model can be modified by adjusting the shape of the individual ellipses, the spacing between them and their tilt.

Notice while you change models that they are all built up from 4 basic shapes, model number 1 uses two distinct shapes, while model 5 uses all 4 shapes and the two smallest are used twice.
