Creation method

There are two options for creating Extrude Surface node.

  • The first way to create Extrude Surface node is using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
    • extrudeSrf
  • The second way is to select Extrude Surface node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Solid > Extrude Surface

Steps

  • Create Extrude Surface node.
  • Connect the surface you want to extrude to the first port.
  • Connect the vector in which direction you want to extrude the surface to the second port.

After creating the node, connect the surface you want to extrude to the first port, by default the surface will extrude in the OZ direction. Connect a vector to the second port in the direction you want to extrude the surface. You can connect several surfaces to the first port, and they will all be extruded in the direction of the vector. At the same time, it is possible to connect several vectors to the second port, in the direction of which they will be sequentially extruded corresponding surfaces in turn. Or if there is only one surface, this surface will be extruded along the given vectors. On the output port, you will get the extrusion result.
