Creation method

There are two options for creating a Surface Split node.

  • The first way to create a Surface Split node using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
    • solid , split ,
  • The second way is to select a Surface Split node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Intersection > Surface Split

Steps

  • Create a Surface Split node.
  • Connect the surface you want to split to the first port.
  • Connect the curve(s) that define the split regions to the second port.

After creating the node, attach the surface you wish to split to the first port, then connect the splitting curves to the second port. On output, you will get the divided surface sections.
