Creation method

There are two options for creating a Voronoi 3D node.

  • The first way to create a Voronoi 3D node is using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
    • panels, pattern, 3D
  • The second way is to select a Voronoi 3D node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Panel > Voronoi 3D

Steps

  • Create a Voronoi 3D node.
  • Connect the points to the first port.
  • Connect the 3D boundary geometry (solid/surface/curve) to the second port.

Voronoi 3D is a node used to generate volumetric Voronoi cells in 3D space. A Voronoi diagram divides space into regions based on the distance to a specific set of points. In the case of Voronoi 3D, the space is divided into 3D solids, each representing the region closest to a single input point.
