Connections facilitate the transfer of data between nodes, featuring a distinct design to indicate connected nodes.
Information Flow
By utilizing Connections, we link the output port of one node to the input port of another. Input ports are located on the left side of nodes, while output ports are on the right. Multiple wires can be connected to an input port, and they are processed based on their connection order.
Creating Connections
To establish a connection wire, click and hold the output port (1), then drag the mouse to the input port of another(2) node, ensuring that the output port connects to the input port of the other node.
Disconnecting Connections
There are two options for disconnecting a connected node:
1. Hold down Ctrl and drag the wire (1) from one of the connected ports to the other port (2) while holding the left mouse button.
2. While holding down the Ctrl key, left-click on the port from which you want to disconnect the wire.
Transferring and Duplicating Connections
If there’s a need to connect already linked wires to another port, use the option to move or duplicate the wires, offering two choices.
To disconnect from a previously connected port and transfer to a new one, hold down the (Cmd or Ctrl) + Shift keys and use the left mouse button to move the connected wires from the previous port to the new one.
To duplicate the wires and connect them to a new port, you need to add another button (Cmd or Ctrl) + Shift + Alt to copy and move the wires.
